Summer or sunny season is the best time to visit Kalanggaman Island. It falls on February to May. You can enjoy clear sky and impressive Sunset and Sunrise and a Brightest stars and your lucky if you went there on Full moon brightest and magical. You can enjoy swimming without sunburn.

July to September might be a wrong timing because it is a rainy season and Typhoons. But you can still visit the Island from October to June.

How to get there?

From Tacloban City it will take three hours journey to Palompon, Leyte. R8 Tourist Transport Cooperative can provide a safe and convenient travel to Palompon Ecotours Office where a mandatory registration for tourist should be done first.

It is located in front of Liberty Park near Municipal Hall of Palompon.
